I think i am leaning towards the samsung.....
but the sony is 1099 + tax and comes with a bluray player (and cables!). It is NOT a refurb.
Samsung is whatever price I can get it cheapest (1185 is cheapest so far)...however, I would get the ln46b750 if Amazon still has it cheaper (it was around 1149 last week). There is no tax if I buy from Amazon.
I saw both side to side....Samsung looked a little better and it seemed more user friendly, but 1099 for the sony and more sounds hard to pass up.
