Well my sights have been split here as of late on which kind of display to buy. The choices are the Sony 24" CRT FW-900 and the Westinghouse 37" LCD. I keep flip flopping. But knowing whether the Sony can support 1080P would help make the decision easier. I will be pairing this up with either an XBOX 360/PS3. Is this possible on the Sony CRT? If so, what kind of cable(s) would I need?

Thanks for the help :)

It will certainly support 1080p, but with HDCP, I'm not sure if your OS will let it display DRM protected content.

Last I heard, the Image constraint token isn't set to be enabled until sometime in 2010. So you'll be good to go with the CRT for at least another 3 something years.

HDCP isn't going to be a problem for a couple years yet since movie studios won't be implementing the standard & the 24 inch Sony will support 1080p as far as I know, however they only have standard VGA & BNC connecters on those moniters.

I suggest you take a look here for a ton of information about this CRT: Hardforums 24 inch CRT thread

I'm tempted to get one to upgrade from my 21" hp1120 FDTrinitron...but too bad the nearest ebay deal is from China and costs about 600bucks.
