FUCK YEAH! Thanks for reminding me, I had forgot it was on tonight. I got hooked on the show from a recommendation from a friend, and blew through the episodes on Netflix this past winter/spring; been waiting for the new season quite awhile. WOOT!

"Sons of Anarchy debuts tonight?" No it doesn't. An episode or maybe a season does, but not the series.

There are shows I literally had to stop watching it got too out there trying to find drama. Nip/tuck was a good example. I just went to wikipedia and read what happened since I was netflixing the series anyways.

Nip/Tuck's writing just went to shit after the whole Carver season. That season was amazing.

Yeah, there's definitely been a lot more going on this season than the last couple combined. Finally some action. Still, some core characters need to die and they need to start moving towards some sort of series conclusion.

I call it the FX curse. The shows start off amazing, and then suddenly after a couple of years they take a hard left for no reason into "WTF land". Nip/tuck was the worst offender, but I felt the same thing with Rescue me and now SOA.

The Shield was awesome from start to end.

i stopped watching nip/tuck i think like a few eps into season 4. it was the season when someone was diagnosed with cancer (dont wanna get into details for spoiler reasons) but i would like to see how the show ended. just not 100% sure what season that was and how many followed.

sons of anarchy has gotten a little over the top in parts, but i still enjoy it a lot and like it more than most shows out there. i watch a lot of shows too.

I really liked it well enough through the whole thing, but I do remember thinking it was starting to get a bit out there towards the end. I think had it not ended when it did it would have suffered the same curse.

This season has been pretty action-filled, but I agree that SoA has jumped the shark. I'll still watch it though and need to catch up on the last two weeks' episodes.

I'm still watching it, it's still action packed enough to keep me more than amused.

There's two people I really, really want to see get killed though.

SOA may have gone overboard this season in some respects compared to it's previous seasons. It still is nowhere near as bad as Nip/Tuck got. In general, it's just become "busier" than it used to be.

Unfortunately it was renewed for THREE more seasons. I think last season was one of the best seasons of a show that I've seen. But I was assuming that this would be the last season. How on Earth do they keep this going? This season is limping along...it's the same shit over and over now...gemma vs. tara...part 17? I skip over parts with them in it completely at this point.

clay has to die in the series finale, don't know how they're going to drag it out for 3 more years, but hope they succeed.

I really hope they attempt to do something different if they're going to go three more seasons. The Gemma doing stupid shit only to very very badly fake cry is getting old quick.
