Sonota " fan only" with vantec stealth?

I have a vantec stealth 80mm fan and was wondering if it was ok to connect it to the fan only connecter on the sonota power supply(for increased silence). I was thinking of using it as an intake fan to stir a bit of air around the hd. Thanks

Should be OK on any fan that doesn't have its own thermistor speed changing circuitry.. At least, it won't hurt anything, even if the fan isn't always spinning...

That will work fine and is a perfect way to get a little cooling air to your HDD. They don't need much air to keep them perfectly cool. I cool my drives with a Panaflo L1A running at 5 volts in front of them. Works great.
