That's what I thought, too. I practically crapped my pants. I had plans to go fishing tonight!

i've never been ocean fishing (i'm a freshwater / lake / stream / and pond kinda guy)
is it fun?
Actually, yes.But I'm a lake/stream fisherman, myself. I was going to go to a stream that's just outside of town, but I might actually go to Henry Hagg Lake instead. I dunno... I haven't made up my mind yet.

yep, give me some largemouth bass and a trout over swordfish and groupers anyday
nothing beats being out in the wilderness doing drifting down the river in a canoe and doing a little fishing.

Dude... make a trip to Oregon... I know some of the coolest places to go fishing. Timber Oregon has this one spot with two beaver dams within 100 feet of eachother. There are two small "lakes" made by the dams, and a tree downed in the middle that connects both dams. There's lots of shadows that are fairly open to drop a small lure in and plenty of rain for the fish to come out and play in.
Yes, fish "play" in the rain. Fishing early in the morning in Oregon while it's raining is some of the best stream/lake fishing you'll find.

i dont know man.. i'm pretty sure thier are some streams in the blue ridge mountains here ini Va that can't be beat.
does sound great though-- if i ever make out to Oregon, we'll have to meet up and do a little fishing.
