Sonicwall/Internet Connection Problem

I'm trying to configure the Sonicwall PRO 100 firewall at our office to accept a new DSL connection. We basically got a new DSL modem/service. However, the Sonicwall does not accept the connection...so I get no connectivity when I plug in the new DSL connection. Meanwhile, our old DSL modem still works fine when plugged in.

So far I have tried to get the IP of the new DSL modem by using the ipconfig command and using the Gateway information. I entered this IP into the Sonicwall WAN IP field, but that didn't work.

Any ideas?

Are you using the same cable from the old modem if I remeber corret you had to use a cross over cable. Also is that a modem or a modem/router if a modem/router you will want to run it in bridge mode that way it is nothing more than a dumb connection device and all traffic will be passed to the sonicwall. As far as the ips call the provider and make note of your public ip's.
