SonicBlue Rio Receiver question

Is there anyway to make this thing (the Rio Receiver) talk to Linux instead of a Winders machine?

Anyone have one of these things, btw? What do people think of them? I just got mine and won't have a chance to hook it up until this weekend. $149 now at a variety of places online. I really wanted the Turtle Beach Audiotron but it costs almost twice as much.

Thanks!

I got mine hooked up last night. It works pretty good. I did find that CDs burned from the same material sound better but that is probably due to leveling and what not.

I also did a google search on "rio receiver linux" and eventually came across something called (I think) jreceiver. This looks to be a nice linux set of applets for running the Rio. (Or winamp for that matter.)

The thing I don't like about the Rio's software is that it has to import everything at once. So if I want to make a new playlist and play it I have to suck the entire MP3 archive in. Since I have every CD I've ever owned ripped to MP3 this takes a while.
