I use a Sonicare Electric toothbrush, and it doesnt brush hard enough, or vibrate fast enough or something...just doesn't feel like it gets the job done. Is there anyway to power it up a little bit? Not a whole lot, but just a little bit. I know it uses 2 little magnets in the middle, maybe some better magnets would make it more powerful? :D then maybe afterwards i'll add some racing stripes and a spoiler, but first thing's first :p

There are actually multiple speeds. The highest one ripped up my gums twice a day for a few weeks before they got stronger.

Mine has a timer in it, so it'll stop when it's supposed to be over (bout a minute 1/2 or 2 minutes). I'm not sure if mine has multiple speeds.. how do you tell?

when you first use a sonicare, it starts at the slowest level, then ramps up a little each time. They do this to strengthen your gums...otherwise it'd be too much all at once.

There is a way to jump to 'high speed'. On mine, it's put it in the charger base and hold the power button for five seconds. Check your manual.

I think you should read the manual to see how to use it properly. As stated before, you don't use it like a regular toothbrush and scrub hard. Let it do the work.

That worked actually, thanks! :D, I've been using this sucker for like 5 years and never knew that :p, guess reading the manual pays off sometimes. Thanks for the help.

Only here would geeks be asking how to overclock their toothbrush.
