Songs for a Romeo and Juliet movie

I'm doing this stupid group project about Romeo and Juliet. We have to do a full out proposal on marketing the movie to a company, such as Paramount Pictures. And I got the worst part of the task, I have to compile a list of songs and artists that are on the soundtrack..

Needless to say, I have no taste in music. The film is being marketed to everyone, we really don't have a target demographic. So could anyone suggest some songs that might be good to put on a soundtrack for Romeo and Juliet?

The lyrics of Exit Music are actually about Romeo and Juliet, and are quite moving if taken in that context.

It all depends on how you're "filming" the movie. If it's like Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet from a few years ago, some stranger, pop sounding music fit the bill, soft music for other parts of the movie, etc. Is this going to be a film of a stage production? Then not much music at all, methinks.
