songs downloaded on ipod touch

I downloaded 4 songs on my touch, not sure exactly what happened but when I turned my touch on this morning the apple logo came up and it never booted up. I tried pressing and holding the power button with no luck. gonna return it to Best Buy tonight, but what happens to the songs I've paid for? I know on my PC I can't download the songs on a 2nd computer, so I'm wondering if I'll have to buy the 4 songs a 2nd time if I want them back on my Touch.

What system do you sync the teh Touch to? I thought that you could download those songs to that system as well, if nothing else, contact Apple and see what they can do.

I was unaware you could cross sync, I use a PC with the latest iTunes. I'm doing a reset thru iTunes, but it says all my data will be deleted off the Touch, I definitely need to look into what you said for next time, if it's possible to sync the Touch to my PC I'm good. if not I won't buy any tracks directly off my touch.

That was my understanding all along about the WiFi Store, was that if you heard a song while you were out and about you could buy it, and then when you got back to your computer, it would sync to it so you had it there, and on your Touch/iPhone.

You can cross-sync from the Touch back to your Mac/PC. iTunes should transfer any iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store purchases automagically.

humm haha well mine didn't, I synced it with my PC a few times after I had bought the music but it's not showing up, ended up taking the Touch back to the store. Oh well, it's only 3 dollars I lost no biggie.
