Song Title?

One of my friends is trying to figure out a song for another friend. The only lryics they've got are "for you I will die." Said that it's stretched out in the chorus and it's a rock song, possibly metal. I can't think of anything right offhand and the only thing that google turned up was something by Monica. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks.

Edit: He just told me that it was on the radio, if that helps narrow it down at all.

but they both have the phrase "for you I'll die" and it isn't durring the chorus.

Nope, he doesn't know what station it was on.

And no, I don't think it's Bryan Adams. I don't have any idea, either. I hate it when there's a song that I need to identify and I can't think of what it might be.
