Song swapping cut in half!

they get their numbers from surveys....people who volunteered to say, no no...i stopped downloading i promise.
even if the numbers are even close to realistic, the drop in kazaa users is not due to lawsuits, commercials, or any of their FUD. It's simply because sharman networks killed k-lite. (well, for most people....)

Just say yes and don't contest this study. Yes song swapping has been cut in half and now the RIAA can get off everyone's case.

LOL maybe those who were downloading got all the songs they wanted and have no desire to download the newest crap being released like Britney or Outkast!

"Moreover, sales of CDs and singles were down just 3.6% last year vs. a 12.9% drop in 2002"

A comparatively lesser decrease in annual sales is still a decrease. Lets say 10 people buy CDs in 2001, and 8 people buy them in 2002. That's a drop of 20% right? Then in 2003 7 people buy CDs, a 12% loss from the year before. Does that mean things are getting better? NO, because the cumulative drop over 2 years was 30%, which ISNT a good thing (for the RIAA, at least)!
