I needed to upgrade anyway, yet after all the money I can't get this thing to work.

Symptom:
Random reboot originally, now seems to just give me a "No Signal Input or Cable Disconnected" message.
I managed to install Windows XP Professional.

Replaced:
Asus K8N-E Deluxe Revision 1.5, flashed bios last week.
AMD 64 3400+ 1mb cache.
1 GB Corsair Value Select DDR Ram (2 x 512)
Antec 350w TruePower
Western Digital 74GB Raptor.
Windows XP Pro (fresh insall)

Not Replaced:
Gainward GeForce 4 Ti4800 GS
Monitor (17 inch CRT)

Tried:
Multiple hard drives.
Secondary GeForce 2 Pro (64MB)
Can not install latest VIA 4-in-1 since I get no signal message.
Can not install latest NVidia drivers since I get no signal message.
I am aware of the issues with FastWrite and shadow setting in bios, but currently I can't get that far.

Possibilities?
I don't have a spare monitor to test it on.... but could it be the monitor doing this? Doesn't seem possible.
I would just buy a new card, but I would rather not if I don't have to, and I have tried 2 cards, but both cards are not made to support more than 4x AGP and do not support dx9... although that doesn't matter when I get a signal error during very beginning of boot.

Please help me with this, I have spent so much time and cash.... and I don't know what to do.
