Song of Ice and Fire series.

I have read the first three and am wondering about the fourth. If I could afford to buy my books I would but then I'd pretty much have the library's science fiction and fantasy section.

EDIT: Turns out the release date was pushed up or back or whatever in hell it is that makes things take too damn long. Anyway, I'm waiting for the fourth and would still like to discuss the series. Fire away people.

Who has read the fourth book and what did you think? The local libraries don't have it or it's on extreme hold. I want opinions people!

The fourth book isn't out yet, sadly... 🙁

The release date was NEVER supposed to be August. Martin and his publisher have not mentioned even tentative release dates. Certain moronic internet e-tailers like Amazon make up farcical release dates to get equally moronic customers to preorder based on nothing but empty rumors. Since this is the internet and the uber-morons believe anything they read, Amazons made-up release date of August was accepted as gospel.
