Good for her? While I am not sure how abortions work out exactly, I think there's a little more to this story. It's hard to mess up an abortion...

I guess you can't really complain when someone screws up. Does the BBB take complaints against abortion clinics?

What are you going to do, tell the doctor that this was the worst abortion you've ever had and you'll take your business elsewhere? That he'll really be sorry he lost all your future business.

Man I'd be pissed.. Just looking at this objectively, the doctor failed to complete the surgery properly. Isn't that grounds for malpractice? What if you went under to have a kidney stone removed, but the doctor left it in?

I certainly wouldn't be recommending him to anyone.

Do the job right. When you crush the skull, there is no room for doubt.

I would have her abortion doctor fired for malpractice.

I'v been going to the same abortion doctor for 8 years now, and whenever he messes one up, he just gives me the next one free.

No, when you crush the skull you obviously get one full or mush, and then you name the baby JPeyton.

The kid is going to have to live with kidney problems for the rest of his life. I wouldn't wish that shit on anyone.

At that period in the pregnancy (and most others), abortions are typically done by dismembering the embryo/fetus and vacuuming it out of the uterus. Based on this,
"Women that have early terminations in weeks six, seven and eight, many times the pregnancy is so small that doctors miss removing the baby," Alvarez said. "The danger is that the failed attempt can damage the baby. That is why these patients who get early terminations need follow-ups."
it's hard to say whether this is what was done in this case.

What are you people gibbering about? At eight weeks the fetus is about the size of a pea and easy to miss in the blood/tissue from a D&C.

8 Weeks. If a surgeon missed removing a tumor that big he'd get sued for malpractice. And I think a fetus is easier to spot than a tumor.

She should be able to sue the doctor for 18 years of child support payments.
