Somthins wrong w/my Radeon

Hey-
My system in a
1gig@1.25g tbird
256 Ram
64 meg Radeon

at 1280*1024 (or somthin like that)w/ the high quality settings in Q3 I got 50.4 fps. That was with out FSAA on. I then tried both 2x FSAA and 4X FSAA and got 50.4 fps...
What I am wanting to know is if those numbers look right w/out it on (and it being a drivers issue where its just not turning on FSAA), or if they look a little low.
Any idea why my FSAA isnt switching on?
And in Undying which is based on the UT engine i get tons of stuttering/popping sounds, is this normal? (1280*1024 res again)
Thanks

I'll try that, but isnt that just making it so the refresh rate isnt the limiting factor? I kind of doubt mine is at 50, but I'll try it.

Might be a dumb question, but do you have FSAA enabled for Opengl and not d3d? It has to be enabled in OpenGL since Q3A is an opengl game.

On a related note, I don't think FSAA is turning on for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. I see no difference with it enabled or at 4x and when it is supposedly on there is still jaggies just like when it isn't on. I made sure it was enabled in D3d too since Pro Skater 2 is a d3d game.

I heard something about some new driver version that broke FSAA, but I'm pretty sure it's not the 7078's (which I'm using).

Yeah, I have it enabled for OpenGL, and the vsync thing didnt help either...Guess I'll just install new drivers and see what happens.
