Somewhere along the line, I guess I became a non-drinker

It's strange-I drank plenty in college and shortly after, and have always enjoyed it. Over the course of the last year or so, though, my body just enjoys it less and less. I actually can't really get intoxicated these days; I just end up feeling too full or sleepy a couple drinks in to keep going.

I guess it'd probably be a good thing for my health and wallet if I just listened to my body and didn't drink anymore. But sometimes you just want to get loaded (hey, I'm still young). Oh well. To whom should I turn in my man card?

freaks! Just kidding, I've slowed down a lot in the sense of trying to find new micros/beers. At this point I just go with the 10-20 breweries that always produce solid stuff and wait for something new/seasonal.

Also, if I'm drinking alone/at home after a long day I can probably make it through half a beer before I pass out, rarely do it now. If I'm out though I have no slow downs.

My problem is I live within walking distance of my fav bars, so I usually have a few more tasty treats than I should.

Yeah, it's really the social aspect that I guess I miss. Getting loaded by yourself isn't fun, but it's nice to hang out with friends, feel good, and not being ZzzzzZzzzing after 1.5 beers. Guess I'm just getting old. Ha
