I just upgraded my athlon xp up to a 64 3200 sckt 939, with a asrock 939 dual.
The problem is it usually wont post, i have to restart it atleast 10 times then it well eventually post. It works good until it starts to load windows then automatically reboots. I had somewhat of a similar problem with my xp, it would post then just freeze up, so i hide to keep on restarting it then it would eventually owrk. My main guess is my psu, its generic and only 400watts, ifso how big of one should i get? My only other guess is memory but i'm not sure.

I also just put in a tnt 2 nvidia card and it boots fine everytime except it still reboots when it loads windows, so i'm guessing somethings up with my fx 5900xt

When did the problems start? Straight after putting the new cpu in, or straight after putting the new graphics card in?
Did you manage to get into windows at all to load drivers?
If so, which drivers?
What happened then?

The problem started when i put the new mobo, cpu, and memory in, and it won't post. checked the memory in another computer and its fine, i know video cards good. tried putting in an old tnt2 video card and it worked fine but still won't post with my 5900xt.
Haven't loaded any drivers.

I'm leaning towards PSU. A 5900xt draws more power than a tnt2, so sounds like the PSU isn't putting out enough power.
