If it was a Christian the answer would be the god that man creates in his own image, skyfairy, figment of his imagination, etc., etc. and those that believe such nonsense are to be criticized to the point of ridicule by those that consider themselves enlightened because they follow science, evolution not silly creationism and superstition.

Yet strangely enough, these same enlightened ones defend other religions like they are defending a family member and apologize to no end for the said religion and call anyone critical of their views bigots, racists. etc.

There was a movie "Big Trouble in Little China" that has a bit of a cult following and there was a bad guy who got mad and blew himself up. Obviously too obscure a reference

Just a bit off topic, but you're the second person I've run across this week that believes it's the duty of the "enlightened" to ridicule everyone that isn't "enlightened". The other fellow was a bit more honest about it than you in that he frequently used the terms ****** and hick to describe the unenlightened.
Is this some sort of new movement that's popping up? Or did I just get lucky and run across two ignorant bigots in the same week?
