I miss being able to go out and buy 2 double whoppers with cheese and a large order of fries and a milkshake and not feel any guilt whatsoever :(

now I feel like a fatass when I grab a slice of cheese and a packet of saltines as a snack.

I've eaten nothing but Subway, pizza, Harveys, and swiss chalet for the past month, and I don't think I've gained a pound. Maybe 1 or 2.

As one who has lost a lot of weight in the past and is in the process of loosing said weight again I know what you mean. However they way I plan on looking at things in the future is going to be simply a modified way of how I looked at my eating habits in the past. I'm going to keep a 5-10 pound window in which I must stay within, if I go outside of that window I know to cut back and exersize more again. Beyond that and keeping portion sizes down to something reasonable I'm not going to worry too much about it. Getting obsessive about it is what got me down to 135 lbs last time (I'm 6'1 1/2). Every now and then I'll splurge. In fact I'm thinking of setting one day a month as a fat ass eat whatever the fuck I want day. I'll also have my cholesterol and blood sugar checked on a semi regular basis (by cholesterol was REALLY high last time I checked). I don't really want to become a health fanatic, I'm much more an enjoy life to its fullest type of guy than a health nut. I want to keep things that way for the most part, I just want to look more handsome than I have in the past for a change.

I just realized how I miss burger king. I don't get why they closed... it seemed busy enough when I went. Taco Bell and Arby's were good too, but same thing, closed down.

You eat less than 990 calories a day? I usually end up at around 1200-1400 a day after counting closely.

Shouldn't most people in their 20s who are even moderately active be close to 2000?

Seems it's near there. My own maintenance is supposed to be around 2100.

I'm heavily overweight. I still have about 70 pounds or so to lose to get back to normal weight. I've lost about 27 so far. I try to run every day if not every other day, and I weightlift about twice a week. Hopefully that's a bit more than "moderately active."

Good to see a fellow Vancouverite round here.

There's like 10 of us around here. In fact we are getting together on the 20th:
