I run a network at a private school where the pay sucks. I can't complain since I have a job, but sometimes I wonder if it's worth it. For example, grades are due since it's the end of the year. I've been asked 10 times today if I could forego a backup in order for the teachers to input their grades into the system. We only have 10 licenses and the system shuts down @ 11:30PM due to our backup procedure.

These people actually want us to NOT backup our 12 servers in order to put their grades in. In the end, I'm the bad guy even though I've told my boss that we need more licenses since there are 30 teachers!
 
well, now you know not to plan backups around grade input time. heh. unless there's more to it that prevented you from doing so...
