My father in law tends to get us some strange gifts for the holidays... something that no one would suspect. Last year he got us the full Davy Crockett Collection which we still havent watched.

This year, he got my wife and I a copy of Something's Gotta Give. I didnt think it looked too bad, so the other night we gave it a shot... It was very strange, funny in parts but mostly just had a weird feeling to it that I cant really explain.

Anyways, call me old fashioned but I think the PG-13 rating is getting a bit loose these days. You basically see a full frontal nude shot of Diane Keaton, Jack's arse for quite a while while he's in the hospital... and a few fvcks thrown in for good measure.

Anyone see it? Agree? Disagree?
 
i watched it and thought the PG-13 rating was appropriate. it doesn't show any "nudity" per se. it doesn't use the F word over and over, nor too much use of the S word. it doesn't have any violence. it has quite a bit of sexual ideas and what not.

sounds like any other PG-13 movie now a days.

EDIT: but i do agree that PG-13 movies now a days are "worse" than PG-13 movies when I was a kid (15 years ago).
 
You still haven't watched Davy crockett?

I bought that when it came out and My son and I have watched it about 12 times>
