i've made little tiny boxes for ram sticks before. $8 ram stick gets first class mail if at all possible.

Having experienced many odd and inexplicable things with computer hardware, there are few things I would try. Remove hs/f and reseat CPU. Try a new battery. 1 stick of ram at a time, and in each slot. Same goes for SATA, PATA, and USB. I always try multiple in case 1 is borked. Different PSU never hurts, even when the 1 being used is known good.

Just stuff I always try before RMAing anything. Even a PCI vid card can be handy for TSing issues.

gorcorps is right. thats not ebey that was a shitty seller. I have sold and purchased a lot on ebay. sure i have had some messed up items and such delivered.

besides the ram i ordered a childs chair. sopposed to be 1ft tall and 3 ft long. it was 6inches long and maybe 1ft long. the packaging? they cut up a box and taped it AROUND the chair and duck taped it. the the fucker charged me $20 shipping (the tag was $5 shipping).

i don't blame ebay i blame assholes who use it. 95% of the time it goes great.
