Something wrong with Anands 9600 pro HL2 benchmarks?

1024x768 - 44.5 fps

1024x768 - 41 fps

I agree with this. At higher resolutions the GPU has more work and frame rates should be decreasing on the 9600pro, particularly since the 9800pro shows a decrease and it has a lot more resources at its disposal than the 9600pro.

EDIT: Maybe someone can contact Anand and get him to check those 9600pro benches.

I don?t think Anands explanation holds as to why the 9600pro scores haven?t decreased.

Anand's number for 9600 Pro are probably wrong. Tom posted his benches and 9600 takes a significant hit between tested resolutions.

In Gamer's Depot's first article they said they would test HL2 on det50's to see what happened, but they didn't end up doing it. Does anyone know of any site that did? I doubt it'll be any miraculous increase, but I'm curious to see what the difference is.
