Techdemo:
1024x768 - 44.5 fps
1280x1024 - 44.5 fps

Bugbait:
1024x768 - 55.5 fps
1280x1024 - 55.4 fps

City 17:
1024x768 - 41 fps
1280x1024 - 40.9 fps

I agree with this. At higher resolutions the GPU has more work and frame rates should be decreasing on the 9600pro, particularly since the 9800pro shows a decrease and it has a lot more resources at its disposal than the 9600pro.

EDIT: Maybe someone can contact Anand and get him to check those 9600pro benches.

This one?
Anand (from article) :

????..This is because with shader-heavy games such as Half-Life 2, the bottleneck is no longer memory bandwidth - rather it is pure computational power; basically how quickly these GPUs can process through those shader programs?????..
I don?t think Anands explanation holds as to why the 9600pro scores haven?t decreased.

Well if thats true, then why do the 9800 and 9700 frames drop but not the 9600?

Tom's scores look similar to the one's at gamers depot. Something seems wrong with Anand's scores.

In Gamer's Depot's first article they said they would test HL2 on det50's to see what happened, but they didn't end up doing it. Does anyone know of any site that did? I doubt it'll be any miraculous increase, but I'm curious to see what the difference is.
