I heard the clothes dryer click off in the laundry, so I walked in. The dryer door was wide open with the dry washing just poking slightly out of the dryer. This despite the fact the door doesn't open by itself, and has a firm clicking mechanism that holds the door closed. I find this to be very puzzling.

GET OUT OF THAT HOUSE NOW AND CALL A PRIEST!!!!!

You have never seen the clothes get in such a way it has enough force to pop open the door??? Maybe washing dryers have weaker doors on them then say a clothes dryer has?
😀
Seen it plenty of times, they wad up and hit the door popping it open, no super natural forces at work, just physics 😉

and yet the clothes were dried to perfection. wouldn't it be more likely to open when the clothing was still wet and therefore heavier?
