Had a "light bulb" moment this evening- want to know if any of you have noticed this:
I've built about 12 Athlon/Tbird systems since they came out 2 years ago. Used a variety of boards (of course) but one thing seems to be in common- I've never had a BSOD on ANY system I've built using Crucial Ram. Now, I've used other brands, but those have had the occasional problem- doesn't seem to matter whether it's Kingston, Generic, PNY, whatever. Not necessarily what I'd call bad problems (except for 1 so-called
"guaranteed" compatible generic PC133 chip that would lock the machine up every time I'd do anything with the CD-Rom), but ones that would clear up upon replacing the memory with Crucial.
Is it just my luck, or has anyone else noticed this as well?
