Is there a program I could maybe download that I could set times and dates and put descriptions to have it remind me? I think that'd be nice if I something that I could set the time of August 15th for say, 2:00PM to remind me to check out a site for an update by having a little bubble coming up and saying "2AM! Check www.quakecon.org for an update!". Anything nice like this floating around? I mean like an actual .exe and not just files. I had an eBay reminder but that sucked.
 
I've never used a stand-alone app to do it, but I use the calender in Outlook to remind me about stuff. If you have office installed, might be worth looking at.
