Something to monitor CPU core clock frequency?

I might be having some issues with the CPU underclocking during games but I can't be sure unless I have some kind of CPU frequency logging application. I need something like a graph that shows core frequency for the past minutes same as Process Explorer draws usage graphs. CPU-z is out of the question since it only reports the core frequency at the present moment, and since CPU frequency changes instantaneously it's impossible to monitor while playing a game.

cpu-z

it tells u when ur cpu is speedstepping on the Mhz tab.

It tells u what bclk u have running as well.

It also tells u what voltage ur at.. all in a window half the size of hwmonitor.
If ur running windows 7, it even has a gadget u can put up.

Can you set up a vbscript to run the "wmic cpu get CurrentClockSpeed" at a fixed interval (say, 30 seconds) and output/append to a text file?
