Something that always bothers me about this site (and others in general)

sometimes when I try to access anandtech.com it sort of half loads and hangs, waiting to load some adds (i can see it trying to connect to adclick.com blah blah blah) and it takes a long time. anybody else annoyed by this?

the bandwidht is capped here, so yeah-- it happens. check out forum issues, thier are a few threads about it

I used to get that sometimes on the main site when I was on a dialup connection. The page will load, I'll be reading an article, then it'll go to a 404 page for the ad it couldn't load. I installed an add-filtering program (webwasher) and it didn't happen again.

Never get that on my broadband connections though.
