Something similar to ObjectDock

So I use ObjectDock and set it to auto hide and appear if I hover my mouse over it. The problem is that it appears even if I'm using the browser and software. I just want it to appear when I hover while I'm on the desktop.

Any programs that'll do that?

Have you checked on their forums and asked them? I'm sure there is a setting somewhere that will do that for you. I just set the delay to activate the dock, and it works well. I rarely if ever activate it on accident now. I also have it set to the left side of the left monitor.

EDIT: Also try decreasing the size of the icons. I can have the mouse pointer on the lightbulbs of this page, and it doesn't activate the dock. I have to literally put the mouse on the very edge for 2-3 seconds, and it comes up.

That just creates another problem in that I have to wait for the dock to appear. I found a new program called Rocket Dock, but it has problems of its own.
