Something odd is happening at Amazon.

I have been keeping an eye on about 5 items at Amazon. All of sudden today, systematically each one of them has been going from shipping in 24 hrs to back ordered or not available.

Something odd is happening. If you have a hot deal there.. get it before it is gone.

Sorry, this is not a Hot Deal. Please post this in the Moderator sponsored ~~~~ Brag & Moan ~~~~ thread.

Thank you,

i feel the same way as u do.. i have been keeping on eye on the mini disc, sound card, DVD, amd CDRW.. and suddenly all gone. wondering what happen

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought it meant
that Amazon was getting their act together on shipping
stuff that you order. 🙂

For their book sales, Amazon does their own
fulfillment, and service is good. For computer stuff,
Amazon is just another order taker, like BUY.COM.
BUY.COM uses Ingram Micro for fulfillment of computer
items. Amazon uses Techdata.

I'll bet the items you are looking at are computer-related.
Amazon/Techdata haven't quite got their #$%~ together on
order fulfillment yet. I ordered/canceled an Antec case
from Amazon 3 different times. Each time I placed an
order (each time was a different model #), the case was
listed as in stock, and "normally ships in 2-3 days".

Actually.. if the past has been any indicator.... this may well be something to be concerned about.

Could be having trouble with their distribution centers/companies.
(not paying the distributors on time .... or AT ALL). Usually the first sign of trouble.
