Something new to me

So, I am trying to burn a music CD of this band called Carcass. I've ripped it to my drive and I have failed numerous times trying to burn it to a blank CD - did microsoft step in on the pirating/burning scene?

It's not pirating if he's using his own cd. I doubt it's any kind of DRM getting in the way, I don't use WMP for burning though. Try using infrarecorder.

Seen Carcass last Saturday . They are doing a Reunion tour if you haven't heard.

I scratched the WMP and just installed bloated Nero. I've had it, just the new OS install sucks re-installing all apps.... thought i could get away with using WMP

CDburnerxp works well, and it doesn't have the bloat of Nero. There's a few free burners I like better, even if you offered me a free copy of Nero.
