If these new allegations are true something needs to be done. A blue ribbon commission should be established comprised of high ranking officials from Dell, HP, Microsoft, Nintendo, Nokia, Apple and Sony among others. They need to let Foxconns parent co know that unless changes are made they will find and utilize other mfg facilities as soon as it is possible to do so.

However the Shenzhen factory has been the site of all the deaths thus far this year. This plant reportedly serves primarily as a manufacturing facility for Apple products. Why are the deaths only occurring at theShenzhen factory and not at other plants ? There must be a reason for this, I just have no idea what it is. The above mentioned commission would be in a position, after a non partisan investigation, to shed the proper light as to why this Shenzhen factory has been the location, allegedly, of all the deaths this year. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the deceased workers.

How many threads are you going to make about the SAME topic? Keep it to one

It is hard to take an article seriously when it talks about the suicide rate at Foxconn being a problem when the rate is less than the suicide rate for the Chinese or US population as a whole.

Going to Dailytech.com for Apple news is like going to Foxnews.com for information on what the democrats are up to.

The allegations should be looked into of course, although I doubt you will get accurate information from anyone. It is in Foxconn's and the people's best interest to lie about what actually happened. Foxconn to cover their ass and the family because of the potential for financial gain from a settlement/lawsuit.

didn't your last thread on this get locked?

Yet you post this:
"A blue ribbon commission should be established comprised of high ranking officials from Dell, HP, Microsoft, Nintendo, Nokia, Apple and Sony among others."

...in the Apple forum. Last I checked, Apple is ponying up some money for raises. It won't solve the problem, but I don't see HP or MS opening their pockets, so why dont you go post this in General Hardware.
