Something like a P160

The headphone jack on my Antec P160 is borked (tip of a plug broke off in it). I can't get the darn thing appart to repair it, and I really need the jack. So I'll prolly end up buying a new case. While I like the P160, I find the front temp redouts to be less than usless.
I'd like to find a nice case with all the front jacks at the top where you can reach them without standing on your head. I don't want any lights or windows, I also don't want a door on the front.
Any recomendations?

Have you tried contacting Antec about getting a new panel or getting it fixed? Never know, they may come through and surprise you.

Just checked the Antec website. They do indeed have the panel, but no means of selling it to me. It seems to be the only part not listed for sale. I sent an email to customer service asking if there might be a way to buy one. But if it's going to take more than a couple days I'll still buy a new case.

go to radio shack, get a new plug, take the old one out, match the wires, solder.
if you can get it apart

if you cant: get a new jack and wire it the same as the old one, then drill a hole where ever you want it. and put it there, solving your placement problems and your borken jack problem

it would be a lot cheaper, and less wastfull, if you want to sell the other case really cheap i could be in the market.

I tried that, but I can't get to the plug. The P160 has a small panel at the top of the case that rotates up or down, all the jacks are in that, and I can't fugire out how to get into it. If I do end up with a new case, this one will become a flower box.

ive never seen one of those cases before, they look kinda cool. odd setup with the swivil thing though.
