currently forums.anandtech.com freezes when trying to load. IE loads fine and bottom says jvm applet started.

i suspect it has something to do with one of the ads. this is the code from the bottom of the page on instances where it calls a java applet.

(wouldn't let me put code into "Attach Code" function so i did the screenshot.

*edit* er..."Preview" didn't show the code but when i submitted message the code was attached. anyhow, you have both. anyone?

I found FireFox slightly quirky and went back to the to "plain vanilla Mozilla" I had before, but there really are some UGLY flashing effects trying to pop up in the wrong places sometimes. Whatever that crap is, it's been worse today than usual!

:frown:

I'm gonna say it has something to do with this guy right here (from the code above) "/RealMedia/ads/adstream_jx.ads/"
