Hi all. For a long time, I've been having a problem with 3D games on my Voodoo5 5500. I won't bother trying to explain it, so just look at this screenshot. I was thinking it could be because I'm running at a 147 MHz FSB speed, but I tried setting it back to 133 and it didn't fix it.

Using 3dfx 1.04.00 drivers on Win2k Pro SP2. All games have latest patch.

I am not overclocking the card. I'm not sure how I'd figure out the card's temperature, either.

Underclocked to 145 MHz (normal speed is 160)
still there. I'm getting that white "snow" too.

I'm not familiar with your motherboard, but does it have a 1/2 clock setting for the AGP? Even with that your V5 is still slightly overclocked, if your AGP is running 2/3 then your Voodoo 5 is going way to fast. Try reinstalling the drivers, it couldn't hurt.

Actually, I think this is a problem with the drivers. I just tried it with Direct3d and didn't have any artifacts. Never have problems with games that use Glide either.
Now, what drivers should I use if the latest official ones are buggy?
