Some homo from AIM sent me a link to www.realphx.com and its some crappy page wanting to sell you something to fix your computer from like spam and crap like that. Well from now on a little program is triggering my homepage for IE to go back to that page which I hate even though I can set it back to what I want through IE. How can I find this program in the registry? Its hidden in there somewhere but its getting hard to find. What a pain. Any imput is appreciated. Thanks.

Adaware and spybot probably will not work.

The link didn't work.....anandtech must have taken it down.

EDIT: Nevermind you put one too many http:// in the link address that is why it didn't work.

Tried both the programs in your previous thread, however they must not catch the small program that is changing the values after the program goes through. It will work for like a few minutes but then it goes right back to www.realphx.com thereafter. Really annoying. How can I find this small value in the registry and kill it? Someone must know the value asside from the bastards that created it.

Get spybot 1.2, and click the immunize tab. Put a checkbox in the one that says "Lock IE start page setting against user changes (current user)"

After that, you try and figure out how to change it back to what you want. That will keep it from changing back to the page you don't.
