Something is changing color settings....

I'm thinking it is a virus, but a program is ALWAYS changing the color settings from 32 bit to 4 bit. It will automatically change it when I try to switch it to 32 bit. Video drivers are installed properly. Running a kaspersky virus scan right now. What do you think?

EDIT: Oh, as I'm doing the scan I went to NBA.com and there was a message on the screen that said "Strength in numbers" and had a lot of ants crawling across my browser window. I doubt NBA.com had that posted for today. Lets hope Kaspersky will catch this sucker.

Kaspersky has found two viruses so far. one is the kepper win32 trojan virus and the other it is uncertain on what it is. They are both in a temp folder. I just wonder why I can't change my color settings. What can this be?

bump...I honestly have no idea on this........why can't I change it back?

After a full scan it still will not work. I just installed service pack two but that did nothing. I'm really perplexed. I'm currently in safe mode and 32bit works fine. Its just in normal mode that it will not go any further then 4bit.
