Hi..I own an intel piii700@945 with my V5 pci card...built a new system and moved the V5 out and put a G400 in and the system runs stable at 980....it seems my V5 does not like higher pci speed

Also my system temps went down when I removed the V5 and placed the G400 in..about 1-2C on my msi6163pro

I now have the V5 in an Asus A7V133 with 1.2@1.4(vcore at 1.85) at 10x140....my ram is from JKDude the Mosel pc143 does cas222 usually easily at 150....

Interestingly if I push the fsb up to 150 the V5 bios will not even come up the pci bus is at 37.5...now it could be the Tbird chip will not post but ususally the V5 BIOS when I ran it on BX baord if I pushed the system to fsb 142 would come up and the piii would post at 994 but crash later...so I wonder if the V5 is holding me back some or the tbird.

I think the overclocking slowup could be from the V5 since its very CPU dependant. As for the temp drop I,m not surprized I think if proporly installed any Voodoo card could power an EasyBake oven.:Q
