If happiness and pain are caused by chemical reactions within the body....how can a soul be happy/in pain due to heaven/hell after death? 😕

You're combining science and religion. That never ends well.

What's a soul? What's heaven? What's hell? These are questions that science will likely never answer. However, religious people can look in their book/scroll/whatever and find the 'truth' and accept it as the word of their god.

Pain is not the result of chemical reactions, there is a divide between the mind and the body. The mind is responsible for interpreting pain, there are MANY metaphysicists that have tried to solve the mind/body problem, some do a pretty good job, but as with all theories they have flaws.
