You know how on a cold day you breath out and a cloud of smoke comes streaming out of your mouth?

Well I always wondered............ what if....... on a cold night............ you pull down your pants and blow a fart............. will there be a stream of mist coming out of your butt?

when you pee in the butts, does steam rise out? If not, then the butt is as warm as the pee. When you pee on a cold day, your pee gives off steam, therefore if the butt is as warm as the pee then it will put out steam on a cold day. right?

I've always rather thought of farts as being mainly dry... unless you're ill.

This is true. However, a fart may be expelled too quickly from the anus to condensate in the air, the speed of emission would cool the gas too quickly to produce any noticeable steam. Just like if you were to pucker your lips and blow rather quickly, it wouldn't produce the steam you are familiar with on those cold wintry nights. Rather, those are emitted from your mouth during steady breathing, with a relatively wide-open mouth (whereas the anus is signficantly smaller). We will also have to keep in mind that the sigmoid colon and rectum contain far less moisture than the throat and oral structure, which are constantly producing saliva.
