Something happening with reviews...

Is it only me that have noticed that 3DMark2001SE isn't always in a harware-review any longer, is it something that all the major "review-sites" has agreed upon?
Earlier it was almost always in a motherboard/graphics review.

There's a thread on benchmarking in General Hardware, benches usually get dropped for being useless/outdated, badly designed, or tainted by being influenced by a vendor (intel, etc.). No idea which one applies to 3DMark.
