Only 13 minutes left, at the time of this post, no bids, must be a right-wing conspiracy.

Azraele,

Nope, I don't collect coins. The only thing I do is lay down some silver as part of my investments.

Ahh, then I was mistaken, but wasn't it you that was looking for coin cases?

At any rate, i thought that was you, and then saw the coin auction so I figured you must collect coins. You don't so... whoops.

Azraele,

Yes, I needed the cases for the silver. And, yes I found that auction because part of the portfolio is Silver Eagles - although not any of that colorized crap.

So, your assumptions were essentially correct.

<<not any of that colorized crap.>>

I'm not exactly a coin collector, but I will keep coins that look interesting to me. I especially like wheat pennies. I hate the colorized coins. They just don't look right.

Who in their right mind would pay $25 for a friggin coin of a Presidential CANIDATE!

Hell, I don't think many people would pay $25 for a coin of our current president.....

hehe, I don't know what's funnier, the coin or the fact that no one bid on it.

Really? What about current National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice, or another former holder of that position, Henry Kissinger? Or Dr. Thomas Sowell? Shelby Steele? Clarence Thomas? Alan Keyes? Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell, Congressman JC Watts, and Booker T Washington?

I'd say there are quite a few greats on that list, and it's not even an exhaustive list...

Ill give bush credit, unlike other repub administrations, they didn't stoop ot have "Token" members. Like your token black guy, your token jew, your token woman... etc.

I can honestly say, that as much as I dislike, well, ok, that as much as I detest the Republican agenda, I do like Bush as a person. I'm pretty sure that Red had it right when he said Bush, who is generally honest, is uncomfortable around career politicians (ie liars) in washington.

I do have a lot of pity for him. Hopefully, he doesn't become like them.

Oh, Russ,

I agree with you on the coins. I hate the colored ones too. And you won't hear me say I agree with you often, so mark it on your calendar ;)

But I do respect your opinion. Don't ever get that wrong. :)

Red,

Neither is Bush's but, for some reason, somebody bought one.

None of those people are in position of power. They take orders period. The decsion makers are in Congress and as well as the Judges. How minority HOR do they have? How many minority Senators do they have? How many have they even backed to run for election? I am so sick and tired of the same ole dribbble from the "Good Ole Boy Network". Hey when is Trent Lott the GOP Senate Leader going to do his next interview for that racist magazine, Southern Partisan? I am just dying to hear how the south should be proud to fly the confederate flag. :) Man I am in touchy mood today.

Um yeah, but that is still pretty sad when you just named 50% of major Republicans that are part of a minority in less than a paragraph. :p

None. There are no black Senate members at this time, Republican or Democrat. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R) and Daniel Akaka (D) are the only so-called 'people of color' in the Senate.

Hehe.

There are far too many Old White people running this country. I don't care if they are Democrat or Republican. We have such a diverse group of people in this country. It would be nice to see the same diversity in our government.
