Something fishy at work

I work at a retail outlet, and one of the supervisors came to me today regarding an employee's parent's account. She had $17 worth of credits on her account and didn't end up paying for anything. No coupon codes were used either. I looked up who gave the credits and it was my Boss. My boss is friends with this employee; they hang out together outside of work.

Should I confront my boss about this, or forget I even saw it? There aren't many employees, let alone managers, in my store. So it would be easy for him to figure out who said something if I spoke with the District Manager about this. Plus, when I move on from this place, I was planning on using him as a reference, and if they ended up canning him, I have a feeling we would get a really crappy manager in place. It still bothers me though, what would you guys do?

Dude - your post makes no sense. WTF is a Parent Account, and what in the hell are credits?

I work at a video store. One of our employee's parent's came in to rent on their account.

If it's not your business, stay clear from it. Work politics create huge drama, so my advice is keep it to yourself and worry about what you do. It may be discovered by someone else.
