Something came up in AP English about the WTC...

Ok, first off, i don't intend this to be a flame thread. So mods, please lock if it comes to it. I'm not taking sides, and I'm just looking for answeres

today in ap english we were reviewing the book "grapes of wrath", and we were on chapter 14 on the first paragraph....and the teacher said that that is one big paradox just like the WTC thing...i dunno. indirectly she was saying that in the end this will have some benefical (??? she said something along those lines) outcome or whatever....i dunno. she said it's a paradox

anyways, what would you have said to her if you were in the class. and remember, i'm in 11th grade. so yeah

THESE ARE NOT MY THOUGHTS!! I just wanna know what the truth is. I do NOT intend this to be a flame thread. So PLEASE lock it if it becomes out of control

I'm just looking for what I coulda said to the teacher

Its not uncommon for things like this to bring or econmy up, I wouldn't be surprised if we go to war that our economy will boom like never before

in the past every war we have went to the economy has either maintained or increased..... then again almost all have been outside the U.S.

hopefully it will also force us to think hard about domestic security, as well as how we interact with other parts of the world. I hope something good comes out of all this horror.

If nothing else, it will bring the country together...no more of this bipartisan fighting, at the least.
