Something/body is using up my bandwidth. How can I check where/who it is

I am on dial-up and since I don't have much bandwidth to begin with, I really need every single .1 kb/sec I can get for playing games. Norton picked up a worm earlier this morning, but after updating it, and running it again, it won't find anymore yet I still think one is there. Are there any free sniffer programs?

Yep, i'd start with a sniffer. It will show you what is accessing the network.

Do you remember what the name of the worm was? If so, try downloading the fix for it from Symantec. Also you could try a online virus scanning site. Here is on from Trend micro.
