Like the post before, you will have to assign an internal IP for each computer (eg. 192.168.0.1-192.168.0.10), and the same submask (255.255.255.0). You will have to place the computers in the SAME workgroup in order for them to see each other. For this you can choose whatever name you want, but this has to be exactly the same for all the computers on your network. As for computer name, you can choose whatever name you want also, providing that each computer gets an unique name.
After you install everything and reboot, Windows may prompt you for a login name and password... The login name does not have to be the same as the computer name you entered for your network, but you have to enter something here... If you don't want Windows to prompt you for a password everytime you start later, just leave the password field blank.
Just choose "Windows Logon" in your network properties...
