dude is bumming ambulance rides.

I doubt he pays taxes.

It was more to find out if someone in the surrounding areas had the same name, thus this is all a mixup.

Going on the "maybe it was a car wreck and that is why they didn't get too much info" theory.

I asked my bro if there was a public site where I could check police reports for that day, but sadly no dice. I can file a police report and they can check it out. That's my option.

Twist ending: OP confronts medical identity theif; ID theif kills OP; ID theif assumes complete identity, divorces wife, and takes half of everything.

WTF are you babbling about? Nothing has happened. I got a bill and am trying to find out who this guy is. The only thing my brother told me to do is file a police report if it turns out to be something more than a billing mistake. Take off your tinfoil hat and relax.

And now the update:

Ambulance company said they did not have the townhouse number just the street name. They did not use a SSN (thank god) and our birth dates are different. They said to send the letter back as return to sender and note that this is not me.

Wife checked admitting records for the day in question and no one was admitted with my name. So good? Was this guy just using the ambulance as a taxi service?

Sounds like there was no fraud. This thread is bullshit :colbert:
