Someone update me.....what's pci-express and pci-x?

PCI-X is 133MHz and 66Mhz 64bit PCI Slots, commonly found on server and workstation boards, namely for PCI X SCSI controllers and the like.
PCI-Express is going to be the replacement of PCI slots when it comes out sometime late next year.

PCI-Express is whats giving me a headache about buying a uber expensive new graphics card that wont even fit into my next system :|

PCI-X is an extension to the old PCI standard.

PCI Express is a new serial type bus, with a base bandwidth of 1Gb/s in each direction in an X1 link and allows scaling of up to X32 links, as well as higher clock speeds.
