I posted my PS3 on Craigslist and a few days ago and got this email:

Dear sir/ma,

I have interest in your posted item.i want to know maybe its still available for sale.I also want to know the best condition.i will also like to know whether you accept USPS money order as a method of payment. My offer is very attractive, i will offer you $2050 for the item as the highest bidder cos i know many buyers will have been contacting you for this posted item and i am really serious to purchase this item.
I look forward to your reply soonest.

I replied saying I am ready to accept payment and that to contact me back (I gave my cell #) and we can further the sale.

Then I got this email back just now:

Subject: GET BACK WITH YOUR FULL NAME AND ADDRESS FOR PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY

Hello
Thanks for the reply i am very happy that the item is still available, but i am having a very busy time now so i will not be able to come for pickup but we can make the transactions in other way, i want to tell you that i am into modeling as kind of job which cause me to travel most of the time, but i really want to present it as a birthday gift to my cousin which i have promised to present to him.
As i said earlier on, i will prefer paying you through usps money order.I will offer you $2050 as the highest bidder and i will be picking it up with my fed-ex account which i will be billed for that and you will never spend a single dine.
If you are ok with my offer, you can kindly send me your full name and address for me to proceed to the payment process immediately.
Thanks
My Regards

Sounds fishy to me...

I'm not reading the OP or any other replies.

The answer is:

YES. It is a scam. (The other replies probably said this too.) Do not get involved with whatever it is.

I get it.. its a scam :p

I'm just curious what would happen if I give an address. What could they possibly do if THEY are sending me money? I obviously wouldn't ship anything until the money clears.
